Scheduling And Attendance

At A + Childcare LLC, every effort is given to accommodate the parents’/ guardians’ need for coordinating childcare with various class schedules and work shifts, as well as needs for additional child-care hours. Accordingly, parents/ guardians are asked to submit their weekly schedule and schedule changes as soon as possible, but in any event no later than 11:00 pm on the Saturday of the week prior. Failure to submit your weekly schedule on time will result in a late–scheduling fee and a possible delay in Monday morning’s start time.

Late Drop-Offs
All clients enroll at A + Childcare LLC, must arrive no later than 9:30 am, any enrollments that arrives after this designate time must provide some form of documentation such doctors, hospitalization and etc. to be permitted.


Late Pick Ups
Immediate notification is requested for all unscheduled late pick-ups.
Fees for late pick-ups shall be imposed as follows.


Absence And Refunds
Parents/Guardians whose children are absent from A + Childcare LLC, on schedule days will be charge for each Full-Day's services as though the child was present on that day.Refunds will be issued for missed time.

Clothing And Supplies

Disposable training pants are required for all children still in toilet training.

Parents are responsible for providing the following:
  • Disposable training pants
  • Disposable diapers
  • Infant formula
  • Specialty foods
  • All extra clothing
  • Personal health-care items
  • Disposable training pants

Health & Medical

Medical and emergency information forms must be completed upon enrollment at A + Childcare. Immunizations must be kept current and on record.

To serve the best interests of each child and staff member by preventing the spread of illness and to aid in speedy recoveries, no child with any of the following conditions will be admitted to the center:
  • High fever (100 F or above/oral or rectal)
  • Pain
  • Vomiting
  • Severe runny nose
  • Disorientation and/ or extreme lethargy
  • Severe cough
  • Known exposure to communicable
  • Untreated injury• Illness/disease

Should your child suddenly become ill while at the child-care facility every effort will be made to contact you and/or the emergency numbers you provided. In case of illness, either you or the child’s emergency contact is expected to make alternative accommodations for you child/ren without delay. Any illness or other consequence to another child caused by a parent’s/guardian’s negligence or other failure to act shall result in your child’s suspension from the facility for a minimum period of one week, or longer until your child is no longer contagious. The standard child-care service rates shall still apply during suspensions.

The penalty for a person/guardian whose actions or negligence causes the illness of a staff member shall be a minimum two-week suspension of his/her child from the child-care facility. In such a case, parents/guardian are responsible for paying the regular fee for childcare services as though their child was present during the suspension.

MEDICATIONS
Both nonprescription/over the counter remedies (such as Tylenol, cough medicine, etc) will not be administrated and Doctor prescript medication can be administered by the A+ Childcare staff to a sick child. The medication must be in its original container, clearly marked with the child’s name, required dosage, dosage timetable, and other instructions as necessary
